The calculator combines the selected household profile with published spending data and a simplified tax model. It does not ask about your actual rent, deductions or family circumstances.

Reference deductions and household allowances are applied before progressive and 15% calculations are compared.
Estimated living costs and salaries tax are subtracted from annual income. A negative result remains visible as a shortfall.

A small household means 2 adults and 1 child. A large household means 2 adults and 2–3 children. Single means a 1-person household.
